Full Resumption of Normal Operations

All offices and units fully resume normal operations starting from Monday, 25 April. Staff should continue to maintain good personal and environmental hygiene. Please see the Campus Hygiene Measures section of this website for more preventive measures.

For "early identification, early isolation and early treatment”, members are highly recommended to undergo RAT test first thing in the morning at home and only return to campus upon receiving a negative result in the following situations:

• feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, cough or sore throat)

• sharing an office cluster/area with a confirmed case

• had face-to-face close contacts with a confirmed case without wearing a mask (tracing period is counted from two days before the confirmed case was test positive) should undergo 5 days daily RAT tests (count from last contact date)

PREVENTIVE MEASURES IN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

Seating Plan

Department Heads and Directors should review the seating plans of their offices to enable a face-to-back setting and maintain a distance of 1.5 meter between seats.

Physical Barrier

Walls, partitions and glass panels are all physical barrier that can prevent spread of droplets. In cases where distance between may not be adequate, physical barriers should be taken into consideration. Two office tables facing each other with a partition in between would provide an adequate social distance. Plastic or glass panels should be set up between front desk staff and visitors to offices.
